Four checks before committing
- Which activity should this item improve?
- What exactly was slower or failing before it?
- Does it change a Rune or skill choice?
- Is its current effect and inventory state verified for the active version?
Current gear evidence
The official Plaguelands release confirms Level 90 gear and accessories, new Unique Stats, Level 90 stage sources, Level 80–90 Synthesis recipes and Level 90 crafting recipes. That tells you where the current item system expanded; it does not rank every item or prove that a higher item level wins on every route. Ver 1.2.8 remains the patch tracked by this guide.

Upgrade record
Before replacing an item, write down the exact stage, failure point, old effect, new effect, Rune assumptions and repeatable result. If the account was affected by an item or server issue, confirm the inventory state before comparing the item. This turns a gear recommendation into an auditable test instead of a rarity slogan.
