Ask whether the skill improves your present wall: repeated waves, a single target, or survival. Do not compare effects without matching the target activity.
Skill evaluation checklist
- Does it affect the target that is stopping progress?
- Can it be used reliably inside the run’s timing?
- Does its effect change after a gear or Rune choice?
- Was the description checked against the current version?
Official skill interaction notes
The official update history gives several concrete skill cases that are safer to use than a generic power ranking. Ver 1.2.5 fixed Critical Hits and increased elemental damage not applying to the Hunter’s Shock Bolt electric-shock area damage. Ver 1.02.01 fixed Sanctuary healing being applied at one tenth of its intended value, and Ver 1.02.02 fixed Slayer’s Axe Spin failing to trigger its cooldown in the following round. These are versioned bug fixes, not proof that one skill is the best choice for every stage.
| CHECK | OFFICIAL CONTEXT | SAFE TEST |
|---|---|---|
| Shock Bolt area damage | Critical and elemental damage application was fixed in Ver 1.2.5. | Compare the same wave pack before and after the patch. |
| Sanctuary healing | Ver 1.02.01 corrected a one-tenth healing application. | Record survival and healing on the same failure point. |
| Axe Spin cooldown | Ver 1.02.02 fixed the next-round cooldown behavior. | Check the second-round timing before judging the skill. |
Skill test record
For a useful skill note, record the patch, stage, target count, gear assumptions, Rune route, cooldown timing and result. A description copied without its version cannot explain whether a change is a bug fix, a balance change or a player-side setup difference. Keep the result tied to one job: waves, a hard target or survival.
